Easter Bank Holidays 2025
On Good Friday and Easter Monday, Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel services will operate to a Sunday timetable.
The Plough stop in Wheatley temporarily suspended
- Affected stops:
- Wheatley, The Plough, NW-bound
Due to roadworks, the Oxford-bound The Plough stop will be temporarily suspended between 17/04 and 20/04. During this time, passengers are advised to use the Asda stop, as the nearest alternative.
Beverley Close stop temporarily suspended
- Affected stops:
- Abingdon, Beverley Close, NW-bound
Due to roadworks, the Oxford-bound Beverley Close stop will be temporarily suspended until 24/04. Passengers are advised to use the Abingdon College or Parsons Mead stops during this time.
Fitzwaryn School Stops temporarily suspended
- Affected stops:
- Wantage, Fitzwaryn School, S-bound
- Wantage, Fitzwaryn School, N-bound
Due to roadworks, the Fitzwaryn School stops will be temporarily suspended between 11/04 and 05/05. During this time, passengers are advised to use the Whittington Crescent stops
Roadworks on Cowley Road/Manzil Way
Between January and April 2025, there will be ad hoc roadworks on Cowley Road, these should not affect any stops but temporary traffic lights will be raised occasionally, as such we expect delays when this occurs.
Temporary Stop Suspension Osney Island
Due to Thames Water works on Botley Road, the Osney Island stop towards the City Centre will be suspended until further notice.
A temporary stop will be in place just before the pedestrian lights, and signs stating where will be published in the area.
Botley Road CLOSURE
Until the end of October 2024, the section of Botley Road that passes underneath the rail bridge near Oxford Rail Station will be closed to motor vehicle traffic, including buses. The following services are affected by the bridge closure: BROOKESbus400/U1, city3B, city4A, connector 33 and Thames Travel 63/63S. Full details can be found using the link below.

Howard Street East stop temporarily suspended
- Affected stops:
- Oxford, Howard Street east, SE-bound
Due to roadworks, the Blackbird Leys-bound Howard Street East stop will be temporarily suspended on 22/04. During this time, passengers are advised to use the Magdalen Road East or Shelley Road stops.
