St. Giles Fair 2024 - Diversions

Due to the St. Giles Fair, Magdalen Street East and West, St Giles, Woodstock Road and Banbury Road will be closed to all traffic between 08/09 and 08:00 on 11/09. Our services will operate according to the following arrangements:
City6:
Towards Oxford they will divert via St Margarets Road, Banbury Road and Parks Road to terminate in Broad Street near Turl Street, on Sunday some services will be dropping off at George Street instead, and they will all be picking up near Trinity College towards. Customers are advised to use the Bevington Road stop and the Parks Road in both directions.
Park & Ride 300:
Towards Redbridge, services will divert via St Margarets Road, Banbury Road, Parks Road, Broad Street then into George Street.
Towards Pear Tree, services will operate as normal to George Street and will then pick up at stops B2/B3 near New Theatre then divert via Broad Street, Parks Road, Banbury Road and Canterbury Road into Woodstock Road.
Passengers are advised to use the Bevington Road stops and the Parks Road stops in both directions and the St Margarets Road stop towards Redbridge.
ST2:
Towards the JR Hospital, services will divert via St Margarets Road, Banbury Road and Parks Road.
Towards Wytham, services will operate as normal to Parks Road then via Banbury Road and Canterbury Road into Woodstock Road.
Passengers are advised to use the Bevington Road stops in both directions.
ST1:
Service route will not be affected but as many services will be using Broad Street, passengers are advised to expect delays.

Our ST1 service is currently operating to School Days times. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the interactive timetable is currently unavailable on the website/app. This matter has been reported and we hope to have a resolution soon. Due to ongoing works on the new development, we are currently unable to serve the stops within Donnington, we expect the service to operate along the new route from the beginning of October 2024. More information will be posted as it becomes available we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Sutton Courtenay Road Roundabout Stop Permanently SUSPENDED
Due to safety concerns, from 01/09/2024 our services will no longer be stopping at the Milton Park, Sutton Courtenay Road Roundabout stop. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Kirby Close Stop Temporarily SUSPENDED

Due to concerns related to the location of the Kirby Close bus stop, we have implemented a temporary stop in close vicinity. The stop itself will be permanently moved to the location of the current temporary bus stop.
City46 Emergency Diversion

We have received notification from Oxfordshire County Council about an emergency 7.5T weight restriction being imposed on Donnington Bridge starting 20/08/2024. To reflect the above - city46 service will need to divert via Iffley Road in both directions until further notice.
During this time, the following stops will not be served by city46 in both directions:

Donnington Bridge
Weirs Lane
Chatham Road
Lincoln Road
Lake Street
Newton Road
Whitehouse Road
Police Station

ST1 Emergency Diversion

We have received notification from Oxfordshire County Council about an emergency 7.5T weight restriction being imposed on Donnington Bridge starting 20/08/2024. To reflect the above - ST1 services will need to divert via Iffley Road and the Eastern By-Pass until further notice.
During this time, we will be unable to serve the following stops in either direction:

Unable to Serve Herschel Crescent

We have been informed that Herschel Crescent has been closed until further notice, as such our 5A services will be unable to serve the stops within. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will keep you updated as we get more information.
Temporary Stop Suspension Osney Island
Due to Thames Water works on Botley Road, the Osney Island stop towards the City Centre will be suspended until further notice.
A temporary stop will be in place just before the pedestrian lights, and signs stating where will be published in the area.
Sadler Building Stop SUSPENDED
Due to roadworks, the Sadler Building stop will be suspended. No temporary stop will be provided due to location, the closest alternative stop will be Magdalen Centre.
Botley Road CLOSURE
Until the end of October 2024, the section of Botley Road that passes underneath the rail bridge near Oxford Rail Station will be closed to motor vehicle traffic, including buses. The following services are affected by the bridge closure: BROOKESbus400/U1, city3B, city4A, connector 33 and Thames Travel 63/63S. Full details can be found using the link below.

Handy Cross CLOSURE Airline not serving High Wycombe, Coachway

Due to highway maintenance works, Handy Cross Roundabout (M40 junction 4) will be closed and inaccessible between Friday, 14th September 04:00 and Monday, 16th September 07:00. During the closure, our Airline service will be unable to serve High Wycombe, Coachway in both
directions.
For travel between Oxford and High Wycombe, customers are advised to travel to Lewknor Turn and connect to local buses at the bottom of Aston Hill.
Customers intending to board at High Wycombe, Coachway (towards Heathrow and Gatwick) are advised to use the 34 service from Coachway to High Wycombe Bus Station where they can connect to the Carousel flightline 102 service.
Customers travelling from the Airports wishing to disembark at High Wycombe, Coachway are advised to alight at Heathrow, Central Bus Station and connect to the Carousel flightline 102 service.
For the duration of the closure, the Airline tickets between High Wycombe and Oxford, Heathrow or Gatwick will be accepted on Carousel’s flightline 102 and service 34.
Handy Cross Overnight CLOSURE

Due to ongoing roadworks, the Handy Cross Roundabout will be closed every night from 16/09 to 05/10, between 21:00 and 06:00. Airline Services will still serve the High Wycombe Coachway. Passengers are advised to expect delays and allow more time for their journey.
