New mystery tour of Cotswolds among Pearces day trips this summer

Today Tue 28th Jul 2026

Passengers seeking a unique day out this summer can join a Cotswolds mystery tour with Pearces Coaches.

The coach operator, which provides private hire, airport transfers and school transport, is offering summer day trips for families to enjoy in August.

The mystery adventure in the Cotswolds will take customers through quaint villages, stunning landscapes and hidden gems.

Exact destinations will be kept secret until the day, with tours to take place on Wednesday 12th August and Wednesday 26th August.

There will also be trips to the capital, including a three-in-one museum day on Friday 7th August. Families can explore the world-famous Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Science Museum.

On Thursday 6th August and Wednesday 12th August, history enthusiasts can enjoy educational trips to the Imperial War Museum and hear real stories which move and inspire.

Further museum trips are taking place on Monday 3rd August and Monday 17th August, to the Black Country Living Museum in the West Midlands, where you can be transported back in time at Visit England’s winner of the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2025.

Coach day trips to Bournemouth are being held every Wednesday throughout August. Spaces are limited and sell out quickly, so booking is recommended for the trips to the south coast.

Meanwhile, tickets for an action-packed adventure at Thorpe Park include return coach travel and entry, with adventures to the theme park on 3rd, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th August.

Days out at the cathedral city of Wells, followed by outlet shopping at Clarks Village, are scheduled for Wednesday 15th August and Wednesday 22nd August, while there will be trips to Portsmouth and the Gunwharf Quays outlet shopping centre each Thursday during August.

Luke Marion, Managing Director of Pearces Coaches, said: “With the school holidays now in full swing, we’ve got a range of exciting days out lined up for families.

“We’re particularly pleased to be launching our Cotswolds mystery tour, a distinct experience which allows passengers to explore one of the country’s most beautiful areas, but with a twist.

“There are also trips to some of the nation’s leading museums, seaside attractions and theme parks, providing a wide range of fun days out for all of the family during the summer.”
