Save big on Oxford parking with Park&Ride.
Looking for affordable Oxford parking or wondering how to get to Oxford City Centre without the hassle? The new Park&Ride offer lets you park for just £2.50 and ride for free into the city. This special offer means you can avoid the temporary £5 Oxford congestion charge and expensive city centre parking fees, making your journey easier and much more cost-effective.
Why was the discount created?
The Oxford congestion charge is being introduced to reduce traffic and improve air quality in the city centre. To help drivers make the switch to greener travel, Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel, and Stagecoach, together with the local councils, have teamed up to offer free bus travel from Park&Ride sites for anyone who pays for parking. This initiative supports sustainable transport, reduces congestion, and helps families save money on their trips to Oxford.
How long will the offer last?
The Park&Ride discount started on 29th October 2025 and will run until the 15th August 2026. During this period, anyone parking at Seacourt, Redbridge, Thornhill, Pear Tree, or Oxford Parkway can enjoy free bus travel into Oxford City Centre and other key destinations like John Radcliffe Hospital and Oxford Brookes University.
Who can benefit from Park&Ride?
This offer is perfect for families, commuters, and visitors to Oxford. With just one £2.50 parking ticket, two adults and up to three children can travel for free on Oxford Bus Company, Thames Travel, and Stagecoach services (excluding Airline). Simply show your parking proof when boarding at any Park&Ride site and enjoy a stress-free, affordable journey into the heart of Oxford.
