Queen Street temporary closure
We have been advised that Queen Street will be closed between from 07:30 28/09 and 17:30 26/10 for roadworks. During this time our services will need to divert as follows:
Our 3, 3A and 6 services will divert via Castle Street, Norfolk Street, Speedwell Street and St Aldates to resume their regular route on the High Street and Police Station respectively.
Our 8 services will terminate at Speedwell Street, turn around via Thames Street and commence service from the Police Station stop P2.
Our 46 and 500 services will divert from Westgate via New Road, Oxpens Road, Speedwell Street and St Aldates to resume their regular route on the High Street.
Our X2, X15 and X40 services will divert from Westgate via New Road, Oxpens Road, Speedwell Street to resume their regular route at the Police Station, and as such they will be unable to serve St Aldates.

Oxford Half Marathon 2026
Due to the Oxford Half Marathon, several roads in Oxford will be closed on 11/10 between 07:30 and 15:00. During this time, our services will be diverted as follows:
City6:
Towards Oxford and Abingdon, services will divert from St Giles via Beaumont Street, Worcester Street, Park End Street to resume their regular route on New Road.
Towards Wolvercote services will follow their regular route
300:
Towards Redbridge, services will divert from St Giles via Beaumont Street, Worcester Street, Park End Street and resume their regular route on New Road.
Towards Pear Tree, services will follow their regular route.
Customers using the 300 and City6 services can disembark at a temporary stop near the Oxford Playhouse Theatre.
X3:
Services will divert in both directions via Marston Road, to and from Headley Way. Passengers are advised to use the Copse Lane or Crotch Crescent stops during this time.
City700 & H2:
Towards Kidlington/Carterton, services will divert from the JR Hospital via Headley Way, London Road, Green Road Roundabout to Cutteslowe Roundabout, where the regular routes can resume.
Towards JR Hospital/Blackbird Leys, services will do the same diversion but in reverse.
City200:
Towards Harcourt Hill they will divert from Magdalen Street via Beaumont Street, Worcester Street Hythe Bridge Street in order to resume from Frideswide Square.
Towards Oxford services will follow their regular route.
We expect delays on the services directly affected and on all services operating through the Oxford City Centre and High Street.
