The Patron Saint of Oxford, St Frideswide is known for a life of miracles. From bringing forth the waters of Treacle Well to healing those in need, she is remembered today at her burial place of Christ Church Cathedral, which started life as the nunnery she founded.
Christ Church will be dedicating both their morning Eucharist at 11:05 and their Solemn Evensong at 6:05 to Frideswide, including processions to a reconstruction of her shrine, a site of pilgrimage since the thirteenth century.
Whether you're a regular at services or have never been before, all are welcome to the services, with refreshments served at the end.
