Operations & Control Coordinator

We are looking to appoint an Operations & Control Coordinator to support the Assistant Operations Manager with various aspects of administration associated with the successful and legal operations of Thames Travel as well as supporting Control team.
- Provide administrative support to the depot and Control team.
- Support driver management, including complaint handling, coaching, attendance monitoring and return-to-work processes.
- Carry out driver, vehicle and compliance checks, including CCTV requests and tachograph monitoring.
- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly payroll data, with cover for payroll processing when required.
- Manage driver holiday requests, wellbeing records and referrals to Occupational Health.
- Liaise with HR on colleague matters, including leavers and bereavements.
- Order and distribute uniforms, stationery and other depot supplies.
- Manage cash and change machine issues, SecurityPlus collections and general depot administration.
- Promote company values and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
- Previous administration experience, ideally in a busy operational or transport environment.
- A PCV licence is required
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Experience with payroll administration or Coach Manager would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.
