Service Changes 30th August

Sun 30th Aug onwards

From Sunday 30th August, we will be making a number of changes to our services in the Witney and Vale of White Horse areas to improve reliability and overall punctuality. We’ll also be making improvements to our X9 service, with an enhanced frequency between Witney and Chipping Norton.

Service H2 | Carterton - Witney - JR Hospital - Thornhill Park&Ride
Revised timetable to improve reliability and punctuality.

Service 19 | Witney - Standlake - Bampton - Carterton
From 30th August, operation of Service 19 will transfer from Pulhams to Thames Travel. A revised timetable will be introduced to improve punctuality.

Service 64 | Witney - Carterton - Lechlade - Highworth - Swindon

Service X9 | Witney - Charlbury - Chipping Norton
In partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, we are introducing an improved timetable, with buses operating hourly, seven days a week between Witney and Chipping Norton. Operation of the service will transfer from Pulhams to Thames Travel.

Service BB1 & BB1A | Rose Hill - Abingdon - Didcot Schools
Minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.

From 30th August, Thames Travel will take over the operation of service 24, currently operated by Red Rose Travel, with support from Oxfordshire County Council.

The service will operate to a revised timetable, with selected morning and afternoon peak journeys additionally serving Middleton Stoney and Heyford Park, providing new direct links to Oxford.

25 | Bicester - Middleton Stoney - Heyford Park - Upper Heyford
From 30th August, with support from Oxfordshire County Council, Thames Travel will take over the operation of service 25, replacing the current Red Rose Travel service.

Buses will continue to operate to the current timetable, providing an hourly Monday to Saturday service, until Saturday 19th September.
