New 600 Service
Sun 3rd May onwards
New service 600 to connect Oxford Rail Station, Redbridge P&R, Oxford Science Park, Headington Hospitals and Thornhill P&R from 3rd May 2026.
We’re pleased to be taking over the operation of service 600 from 3rd May 2026, with Oxford Bus Company replacing the existing Stagecoach service. The 600 will operate up to every half hour between Oxford Rail Station, Redbridge Park&Ride, Oxford Science Park, Greater Leys, Cowley, Horspath Road, Churchill Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington Shops and Thornhill Park&Ride.
Service 600 is operated with financial support from Oxfordshire County Council.
Timetable and route
Buses will run up to every 30 minutes during the day, Monday to Saturday, and hourly in the evenings and on Sundays.
The route will link Oxford Rail Station, Redbridge Park&Ride, Oxford Science Park, Greater Leys, Cowley, Horspath Road, Churchill Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, Headington shops and Thornhill Park&Ride. It will continue to provide a fast, direct connection from Oxford Rail Station and Redbridge Park&Ride to Oxford Science Park, Kassam Stadium and Greater Leys.
From 3rd May, the route will also be amended to serve Horspath Road in Temple Cowley, providing new direct connections to Oxford Brookes University, Oxford Science Park, Greater Leys and Kassam Stadium. In Headington, buses will serve additional stops around Churchill Hospital, including the Main Entrance, Sobell House, OCDEM and the East Entrance.
The section of route between Oxford City Centre and Oxford Parkway will no longer be served.
