Join Georgia Delve, Matthew Coatsworth and the Warleggan Village Band for a day to celebrate the launch of The Scaramouch, a new book inspired by country dances found in the Bodleian Libraries’ archives.
Take part in a dance workshop, learning the steps of classic country moves from times gone by, before sitting down for a talk that explores Thompson’s Compleat Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances (1757) and the project’s creation.
Tickets are free, but booking is essential, and all are welcome to come along.
