FREE bus travel in West Berkshire

Travel Free in West Berkshire on selected dates in December!

Following the popularity of previous free bus travel initiatives from West Berkshire Council, operators throughout the district are again offering free travel on on selected dates in December.

In collaboration with West Berkshire Council, Thames Travel is offering complimentary bus journeys across West Berkshire all day on Saturday 16th December and Saturday 23rd December.

Participating Routes:

• Route X34: Connecting Newbury, Chilton, Harwell Campus, Harwell, and Didcot.

• Route 143: Serving Goring, Streatley, The Basildons, Pangbourne, Purley, Tilehurst, and Reading.

Travel Details:

• Enjoy free travel on Saturday 16th December and Saturday 23rd December when boarding within West Berkshire.

• If you're travelling from further afield, you can still return for free. Plus, Concessionary Bus Passes are welcome as always.

• For those boarding in Newbury, Streatley, The Basildons, Pangbourne, or Purley: request a single or return ticket for any destination along the route. However, if you're joining us from Oxfordshire or Reading, please present a valid return ticket or travel pass, or purchase a single ticket in the usual way.
