• Survey - two new temporary bus gates in Oxford City Centre

Have your say and let the Councils know your thoughts. The survey is open until Sunday 9th August.

Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council are proposing to introduce two new temporary bus gates in Oxford City Centre.

The bus gates aim to decrease the amount of cars using City Centre as a through route rather than a destination. Under normal conditions, vehicles use the City Centre as a cut-through route, with car visitors representing less than 10% of total City Centre footfall.

The bus gates aim to achieve quicker, more frequent buses on less congested roads, as well as creating an environment which is safer for pedestrians and cyclists.

Your voice as a bus user needs to be heard!

The survey closes at 23:59hrs on Sunday 9th August 2020.
