Common People Festival - 27th and 28th May 2017

On Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017 the Common People Festival will be taking place in South Park Oxford. We will be running a special shuttle service from Oxford Rail Station and a higher frequency park&ride service to help you reach the festival quickly and easily. 

Coming from London? Our X90 luxury coach service drops off right outside the festival, and departs up to every 15 minutes from Victoria, Marble Arch and Marylebone Road. For more information, as well as times and fares check out the X90 website.

Special 450 shuttle service from Oxford Rail Station

On both the Saturday and Sunday the shuttle service will begin operating at 1030 and be every 15 minutes until 1200 where it'll run every 8-10 minutes until 2338. Return buses from South Park to Oxford Rail Station will operate from 1051 and be every 15 minutes until 1221 where it'll run every 8-10 minutes until 0000.

park&ride 300 service from Pear Tree to Magdalen Street

On Saturday 27th May the park&ride 300 from Pear Tree will begin service at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730, 0750, 0800 and 0812 then every 9-10 minutes until 1845 where it'll switch to every 30 minutes until 2345. 

On Sunday 28th May the park&ride 300 from Pear Tree will begin service at 0830, 0845, 0900, 0915, 0930, 0945 and 1000 then every 12-15 minutes until 1845 where it'll switch to every 30 minutes until 2345. 

park&ride 300 service from Redbridge to St Aldates

On Saturday 27th May the park&ride 300 from Redbridge will begin service at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730, 0750 then every 7-10 minutes until 2340.

On Sunday 28th May the park&ride 300 from Redbridge will begin service at 0830 and leave every 15 minutes until 1100 from then every 10 minutes until 1800 where it'll switch to every 15 minutes until 2345.

park&ride 400 service from Seacourt to St Clements (for South Park)

On Saturday 27th May the park&ride 400 from Seacourt will begin service at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730 until 0750 then every 15 minutes until 0920 where it'll switch to every 8-12 minutes until 2339.

On Sunday 28th May the park&ride 400 from Seacourt will begin service at 0820, 0850, 0905, 0920, 0935, 0950, 1005 until 1020 then every 10 minutes until 1740, 1751 where it'll switch to every 12 minutes until 2339.

park&ride 400 service from Thornhill to St Clements (for South Park)

On Saturday 27th May the park&ride 400 from Thornhill will begin service at 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730 until 0757 then every 15 minutes until 0842 where it'll switch to every 8-12 minutes until 2339.

On Sunday 28th May the park&ride 400 from Thornhill will begin service at 0820, 0850, 0905, 0920, 0935, 0950, 1005 until 1020 then every 10 minutes until 1740, 1751 where it'll switch to every 12 minutes until 2339.

Fares

For the shuttle bus service (route 450) running from Oxford Train Station, tickets can be purchased on the bus priced £5 per adult (return) or £3 per child (return). A Family Ticket is also available priced £12 (for 2 adults and up to 3 kids). If you're boarding the shuttle service from Oxford High Street are £2.80 per adult (return), £1.80 per child (return) and £7 per family.

Normal prices apply for those using normal park&ride sites. Please note that parking charges apply at each site. Key smartcards will not be accepted on the shuttle service, please pay with cash to the driver.
