World-class pianist Akiko Ebi makes her Oxford Piano Festival debut with spell-binding interpretations particularly of French and Japanese works. Her programme showcases her expressive ability, with Chopin’s cycle of 24 Préludes featured alongside Ravel’s both playful and poignant Tombeau de Couperin and Fauré’s Theme and Variations, one of the largest and greatest of his works for solo piano.
