Brookes students and staff:

You can apply here for a semester or annual bus pass. Your new pass will be issued on a smartcard and will be called the “Brookeskey”. An annual pass will be valid for travel until September 18th 2010 and costs just £185.

Important notice regarding the renewal of Brookes semester passes:

Brookes semester keys cannot be renewed online. In order to renew your existing pass for another semester, please bring your key card, along with your valid Brookes student ID, to our key centre on level 3 of Debenhams. The price of a semester pass is £115.

BrookesBus - everybody welcome

On 1 July 2009, the award-winning Oxford Bus Company took over the operation of all BrookesBus services, using new low emission buses and employing smartcard technology to make your journey greener, simpler and swifter.

All existing services continue (U1, U4, U5, NU1, NU5) - click on the "FARES & TIMETABLES" button to see the details.
The fleet is made up of brand new ultra-low emission double deck buses with leather seats, air-conditioning, real-time information screens and free Wi-Fi on board.

Brookes Bus

Oxford Brookes University is an integral part of the Oxford community and has purposefully made the BrookesBus service available to everyone. The university is committed to reducing the number of cars accessing its campuses and the city centre and to promoting the use of public transport. The BrookesBus is an important part of the University's Sustainable Travel Plan.

Oxford Bus Company has been serving the city for nearly 130 years and in that time has met many challenges. We have emerged as a modern, customer-focussed company with an emphasis on community engagement and social and environmental responsibility. Our fleet is the lowest emission in the UK, and the buses used for the Brookesbus service have emissions lower than those of the exacting "Euro 5" standard.
