Performance Update
For week ending 11 May 2013, the Brookesbus service operated 99.76% of its scheduled mileage, with 96.88% of the mileage operating to schedule.
There were also the following issues:
- On Monday 6th May, the Police closed the Cowley Road at 2335 in both directions due to an incident which they were dealing with. The U5 service was diverted via the Iffley Road.
- On Wednesday 8th May, our supervisory staff reported heavy traffic on both the Cowley Road and Headington area during morning and afternoon operating peak times.
- Finally, there were various bus stop closures along Hollow Way, due to road resurfacing taking place.
Staff and students should also note that the last day of semester operation is Saturday 18 May 2013. The Vacation timetable will commence on Sunday 19 May 2013 and will be in place up to and including Friday 13 September 2013.
