BrookesBus - a brand new fleet

From 1 July 2009, operation of all BrookesBus services will be by Oxford Bus Company, using brand new low emission buses.

• Services U1, U4, U5, NU1 and NU5 will continue but there may be changes to bus times
• New, ultra-low emission double-deck buses will be used
• Discounts will be available on all other Oxford Bus Company services for Broookes students and staff with a Brookeskey annual and semester pass
• A new Zone will be added to the Oxford Bus local network: Zone D.

Oxford Bus Company has been serving the city for nearly 130 years and in that time we have met many challenges and have emerged as a modern, customer-focused company with an emphasis on community engagement and social and environmental responsibility. Ours is the lowest emission fleet in theUK, and the buses we will use for the BrookesBus service have emissions lower than those of the exacting “Euro 5” standard. The new Brookes Buses will have leather seats, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and real-time information screens.

Service Changes from Sunday 31 May 2009

From Sunday 31 May 2009 we will be making some changes to our city services 6, 15, 35/35A/35B and X3/X13/13, including new service X2. Park & Ride 500 serving Water Eaton will also be affected.
